2405FPW resolution settings

I just bought a 2405FPW and I love it, but I have one problem. I am running an nvidia gforce 5200 ultra, and it seems to run the monitor fine through the DVI input. But when I run the monitor at the 1920 x 1200 that you are told to in many places, my desktop is bigger than the screen size. If I set the resolution to 1600 x 1200 the desktop looks fine, but I do not want to damage the monitor doing this. I could run the regular analog ouput and that would allow me to re-size the screen, but the size and auto-config options are not avalable running the digital input. Will running the monitor at 1600 x 1200 hurt it ?

No it won't hurt it at all, but it won't look its 'best'. LCD monitors only look their best when run at their native resolution which is 1920 x 1200. If your desktop is out of whack at the native resolution you've got some other problem with your Windows software settings (assuming you run Windows) because I haven't heard of anyone else with that problem. Make sure you have the latest drivers from your video card manufacturer installed.
