I found this very interesting. Can I assume that there will be a product refresh/update of the Dell 20" 2005FPW as well? Perhaps sometime in the near future?

Sounds great! Thanks for the info. I am using a 23" Cinema Display right now, but am looking to add a 20" widescreen display in the future. This new product line seems to have a sleeker, more attractive look to it.
My only hesitation is the base. The 19" 1907 was reviewed on Cnet, and they noted the slightly wobbly base during adjustment. The widescreen models appear to be using the same base and height adjustment system, so I wonder if that will be a factor?

I'm afraid that I don't know the U.S schedule.
But I think it's comming to the U.S. soon after Japanese release.

Oh Oh ... I almost forgot... I know how to get this monitor released in the US. I'll buy the 2405 version and then the 2407 will be announced the next day. It always happen to me. Same with stocks, I buy they go down.. I sell they go up. I buy short they go up I buy to cover and they drop. You can make money on me or plan your purchases and upgrades on what and why I buy technology :}
