2407 WFP-HC and Mouse Pointer Flicker

I have a new 2407-WFP-HC monitor that I am using with my Dell XPS 410 with a 256mb nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache card. I upgraded to this monitor from the 2007WFP that came with the system. I am using the DVI connector.

The monitor is great but I have noticed one problem. When viewing some web pages, the mouse pointer flickers and almost dissapears when hovering over a link or url rather than changing from an arrow to a hand. This is intermittent and will often dissapear by clicking on the links (which still work) and going back to the original page.

Various adjustments to the mouse software, using a different mouse, playing with the video card settings including hardware acceleration, have not stopped this from happening.

Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?

ikey78,

Boot to Safemode with Networking and go online and see if the same issue occurs. If not, we need to look at your display settings.
