2407 wfp question

all, i get an icon that appears in the upper left hand corner of my screen randomly. it always comes on when i first startuup windows. it's monitor related, it's a picture of a dvi connection, that is the icon, it's defintiely being displayed by the monitor.

 

anyone know how to turn this off? it does not appear on my 2405.

 

i have changed outputs on my vid card, so that's not it.
