The Wii supports only 480i and 480p. It's currently set to 480i (I haven't been able to get in to change it to progressive scan since all I get the previously mentioned pink screen).
* Power off the Wii
* Power off the PC
* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect all cabling from the bottom of the monitor (including the power cord). NOTE - Disconnecting the power cord releases all circuit latches "resetting" them
* Reconnect either the VGA cable or the DVI cable (not both)
* Reconnect the monitor power cord
* Power on the monitor
* Power on the PC
* You should now be on the the windows desktop using either the VGA or DVI
* Re-connect the Wii to the monitor component
* Power on the Wii
* Press the Input Select button on the monitor and switch to Component
* Open the Wii Options menu and switch to 480p
* Insert a Wii game
I have the exact same problem. Except mine doesn't have any signal at all go through. When I scan for sources it says that it does detect component cables though.
$768 for a dell monitor that doesn't even have working hookups. What a rip.
I just tried switching the Wii over to 480p then hooking it back up to my 2407FPW with the same result - the display info reports 480p input, but all I see is a pink screen.

* Disconnect all cabling from the bottom of the monitor (including the power cord). NOTE - Disconnecting the power cord releases all circuit latches "resetting" them
* Reconnect either the VGA cable or the DVI cable (not both)

Works for standalone DVD player at 480P :)
Power everything off before connecting cables, don't hot plug :)
