2407wfp a04 problem with power saving mode

hi there. i set the power saving mode and off the monitor in a certain amount of time. however instead of power off , the monitor went into red background to green , blue , black , white....etc repeating the cycle. may i know what is going on? any kind souls can help me? thanks
