2407WFP - moving panel?
Hey there! I recieved my brand new 2407wfp a03 yesterday, and i have to say im really satisfied with it! No scratches, no dead pixels, no noticeable banding/ghosting issues and a perfect backlight. So far so good. So right now i wanted to clean the panel from fingerprints and i noticed if I push slightly against the panel it "moves" a little into the inside. maybe about 1mm. This happens left/right and on the top. On the bottom its "unmoveable". It would be great if you guys could test this if you are sitting in front of a 2407wfp, because I´m not sure if this is a problem or not. Thanks already for messing up your panel with a fingerprint :D

You do know that it tilts inward from the bottom ( Normal ) and again if you push the top of the monitor it can be tilted upward a little ( Normal ). Is this what you are talking about ? Pushing in from the front of the panel, which I would not want to do but tried anyway for you, did not produce any movement at all. Just left/right, up/down, and inward from the botton bezel or inward from the top bezel, which is normal...

Some do, some don't, I went thru 8 2407's cleaning them all.
Try not to flex the panel at all while cleaning it, but a little probably won't kill it.
10. Remove white specks with a 100% cotton white soft damp “not wet” handkerchief or cloth or eyeglass material cloth. (don’t get any liquid in the seams on any side of the bezel, especially the bottom, the liquid can wick upwards into the LCD and ruin the display) Check with flashlight frequently as you move from area to area.. Clean small areas at a time to remove big marks. Then wipe entire screen off.
11. Use a clean 100% cotton white soft dry cloth to get the milky film off your cloth just left. Wipe small areas 3”x3” or 4”x4” or so in a circular motion 3 or 4 times in a clockwise direction and then repeat in reverse direction, counter clockwise. Repeat if necessary as some areas may be more stubborn than others. When you have finished you will have a fantastic looking screen. Don’t press to hard while wiping as to bend or flex the panel, just firm enough to remove the milky film.

If the monitor were purchased New, it cones from a different shipping trunk. There is no way a New purchase would have come from the refurbished stock. Acct, private message me the order number.
