Contact Support and get it replaced. It will be interesting if the replacement has the same issue. If it does, the issue is with either the video card driver or the video card itself.

* Boot the PC into Safemode. Any difference?

-> I'm unable to use the external connection of the video card while in safe mode

* Connect the PC video card DVI out to the monitor DVI in. Any difference?
* Connect the PC video card VGA out to the monitor VGA in. Any difference?

-> only VGA connection available besides HDMI. Connected the monitor to VGA-> No change (only much brighter). Measures:

VGA left                                                           VGA right

What to do now?

Regards

Oliver

Hi Chris!

That was a quick response!

You mentioned

Contact Support and get it replaced. It will be interesting if the replacement has the same issue. If it does, the issue is with either the video card driver or the video card itself.

So I connected my old 19'' TFT monitor to the notebook and did the same measurement with the spyder:

Left                                                             Right

To me it seems the problem ist not the same as with the Dell monitor which could be a hint that the video card is OK, right?!

Regards

Oliver

Can't say I understand all of the numbers but that sounds plausible.

FWIW, if you disconnect all PCs from your monitor and then power it on, it has a floating window with different colors.  This should show pinkish if you have a hardware problem.  I had a similar issue where the right side had a pinkish tint.  Replacing the monitor fixed the problem.
