2707WFP Input Source Selection
Hi,
I thinking about buying a new big TFT monitor.
The 2707WFP seems to be a good choice for me.
But I have a question to this monitor according input source selection.
The manual doesn't give answers about my special requirements.
My application for my current and my future monitor is using with two computers
(DVI and VGA) and no more other sources like DVD players or video recorders.
For a efficient working with one monitor and two computers it is absolute necessary for me to switch between both sources with one push button.
I can't accept a behavior, to switch between VGA and DVI and vice versa, to push the button more than 1 time (maybe switching from DVI via S-Video and Composite to VGA).
Additionally it is necessary that the monitor doesn't automatic switch back from DVI to VGA or vice versa if the selected input source has no sync for a couple of seconds. This occurs during Windows booting several times.
Is it possible to configure the monitor that it works like I want?
Best Regards

Thx for your quick respond.
It's not possible to use a KVM switch, because one computer has a DVI and the other one has a VGA output. Additionally I have an USB sharing hub to switch keyboard/mouse between the two computers.
What is exact the input selection behaviour?
"Switch between all inputs by pressing a button several times?"
and or
"automatic switching to a valid input source?"

This reduces the quality.
Now I have three options:
- I can buy the DELL monitor and accept the input selection behaviour.
- I can buy the Samsung 275T where the input selection works perfect for me.
But the Samsung monitor has a minimum height of 48cm against 44cm for the DELL.
I need a a monitor with small height because I have a roof apartment where my
height on the desk goes down.
or
- I wait until more 27" monitors available on the market.

It selects each input in turn, in a loop - even if nothing is connected. It is clumsy, I agree.
