2709W + DisplayPort = Issues?

Does anyone else have the 2709W connected via DisplayPort?  If so, is it working properly?

I have been trying to use it, but it seems very unstable.

When I turn on the computer and monitor:

- 66% of the time BIOS will post

- 33% of the time the screen will remain blank or in power saver mode

  - If this happens, reboot and try again

If the computer gets past BIOS and makes it to windows login:

33% of the time the screen will be zoomed in

When this happens the only way to fix it is to reboot the PC and hope I make it back to the login screen with the proper 1920x1200 resolution.

If the monitor goes into standby (length of time doesn't matter, I tested between 5 and 20 minutes):

- 80% of the time I have to reboot to get the screen to post again.

- 20% of the time the monitor will wake up, but the redraw rate is really slow (between 1-2 minutes).

I've tried looking for similar issues via google, but I haven't been able to turn up much.  It seems not a lot of poeple have this monitor or they're not running it via DisplayPort...or I'm not searching with the proper words.

I also tried multiple computers and PS3 to cycle through the various inputs to see if that would "wake-up" the DisplayPort input...it ususally didn't :(

I have also ran my tests using DVI and HDMI as well.  DVI and HDMI are 100% stable.  Monitor goes to sleep, I move the mouse, it's instantly back on.  I cycle through various connections, there is still output on the screen.  DisplayPort on the other hand is causing me to wonder...is my $700+ monitor the problem or $150+ video card the problem?

Part of why I bought the video card was beacause it supported DisplayPort (and there was a nice rebate dropping price to $120).  At the time I didn't have DisplayPort on my monitor, but I knew my next Dell 24XX or 27XX would.  So here I am with DisplayPort but it's working worse than expected for the next generation of connections.

1.  Any error message shown on screen during POST? If there are, what does it say?

2.  Any error message during cases in blank state?

3. Is the problem seen on computer #1 or computer #2 or both?
