3007WFP-HC date ?

Anyone who knows when the (new) Dell 30' 3007WFP-HC (!) will be available in Europe ?  I saw on the Dell US web site that US costumers can already buy it, when can we buy the new 30' in europe (Belgium) ?

I think you are thinking of the 3007WFP, which is available. The 3007WFP-HC is a newer model that uses the updated LG panel. I have been unable to find it on the US Dell site, except in press releases where it was supposed to be available in November of 2006.

For those of you saying late Feb., can you share where this information comes from? I want to get one as soon as they come out.

The 3007WFP-HC (!) it's available on the US site.  Just try to order a precision workstation 690, then on the monitor tab you can choose between the old 3007WFP or the newer 3007WFP-HC monitor.  Price : $1.699 (for the HC)

That's more than I've seen before about this monitor on the site. Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't need another computer right now; just another monitor. I'll try calling today and see if they will un-bundle the monitor. The checkout system won't let me remove the computer from my basket and keep the monitor. Really didn't expect that to work, but had to try.

Just let me know if you actually can buy the HC monitor, will ya ? You probably live in the US ?  You lucky dude can already get the 3007WFP-HC.  For me, I live in Belgium-Europe.  I'm hoping the monitor will be available when Vista comes out, because that's the date I'm waiting for the buy a new computer.

The release date of mid-February comes from Dell PR by way of HotHardware. Their website has this date listed for their review of the 3007WFP-HC.   And I ve been tried configuring the Precision Workstation 690 every which way and no option is given to me to choose the HC instead of the regular 3007WFP. So feel free to shed some light on how you managed to configure it as so.

Just spoke to a representative in the accessories area for corporate partners who told me that the monitor is not yet available, and she has no information about when it will be available (in the US). She did know what I was referring to though and offered to call me back when it became available.

How to find the 3007WFP-HC in a bundle with the Precision workstation
Follow these steps...

Select Desktops for Med-Large Business
Select Dell Precision Workstations
Select Dell PrecisionTM 690 - Customize It
Select Buy a 750W Precision 690 with Genuine Windows® XP Professional Now! - Customize It
Make sure to select a graphics card capable of driving the monitor
Under Monitors, select "
I will select the 30 inch Wide Monitor from the selection below [subtract $149]"
Under "Other Options" you will now see a section called "Dell 30 inch UltraSharp Widescreen Flat Panel" that includes both model numbers.

Go ahead and try to remove the computer from your cart, leaving the monitor. Won't work.
