The warranty has ended so we are not obligated to repair it. The other TVs had a specific defective part that the W2607C does not have so the W2607C was not part of the special Repair program. You will have to purchase the part and get a local TV repair person install it.

What exact part needs to be purchased.  I am having the same issue.  When trying to power on, the power button will light blue for a second then  flash amber 3 times, then will not light blue again unless i unplug it from a power source, and plug it back in.  I am capable of replacing the defective part, i just  do not know which it is.

Sorry Chris - the W2607C also fails.... DELL does NOT supply parts for it.

My problem:
A bad Dell TV with built in obsolescence - 3 times replaced with - A bad Dell TV with built in obsolescence.

I am an IT specialist and a Web Designer.  My now failed TV also served as a monitor for presentations and training.  I have often dealt with the understanding that DELL computer parts are proprietary.  That does not excuse the recent frustrations experienced by the TV repair man and myself.

I am writing to vent my frustration with Dell in  general.  My guess is that I have been escalated to every department within the company.  Is that the new Dell policy/guideline for customer support?  My time is worth money ......... the hours on hold or being switched elsewhere ......  unreal.  The new answer appears to be "wrong department" and then - another voice saying  (you guessed it) "wrong department".  The only continuity is that the failed TV Model W2600 - W2607C does not have part replacement for the failed  main PCB or failed  main module.

DELL FAILED, I PAY
for countless hours spent on an electronics tech who then can't get an answer from Dell.  I PAY to get this hunk of junk taken down off the wall.  I will NEVER recommend Dell to anyone again.

Is anyone reading this?

I do not know which component you would need. My hope is they can tell you based on the symptoms.

The tech tells me it's the "main PCB" or "main module".  Do you have a corresponding part# for that board?

Apparently the w2607c is defective.  I am having the same 3 blinking amber lights.  If you go to fixa dot com forums you'll see several other people are experiencing this issue.

This just happened to me today, I will try calling support and see what happens.

bnhsurvey,

How can this TV be fixed if outside of the 3 year warranty period?
* You can contact DecisionOne (800-941-4478) if you want to send the TV to them for Diagnosing and Repair
* Or you can repair it yourself

I HAD MY TV FOR I YAEAR I have a w2607c that no long will turn on and the power button blinks yellow. I have been told that it is probably the power supply module. Has anyone else had problems with this monitor. I phoned Dell and got the run around. The guy I finally talked tried to tell me that my computer must not be turning on all the way and there is nothing wrong with the monitor? Well I hooked another monitor to the computer and it is fine. Just wondering if there is a problem with the 2607c like the 2600 and they are just trying to avoid fixing the thing because it is out of warranty. All I want is the darn thing fixed...don't care if I have to pay just don't want to throw away a 1200 monitor that only lasted 3 years. Of couse I live in a place where the nearest tv repair shop is 3 hours away.
