Black and White Screen Problem

Question

I don't know why this has been happening, but its been like this for days now. I turned off computer one day, and turned on later and this happened. I have checked the wires, they have not been touched before this happened in any way and i have double checked the cables were alright. The colors are fine until i reach the full startup of my computer to the point of my desktop where it turns black and white after its done preparing. Why is this happening?

davidtnly, This sounds more like a video card driver than a monitor issue. Try reinstalling the video card driver.
