Code 10 on 82810 Graphics Controller

Question

I installed XP Service pack 2 and the screen resolution is now stuck at 600x800 pixels.   It won't let me move the bar to change the settings from the 'Settings' Properties panel.   I go the Device manager and see I get a CODE 10 on the 82810 Graphics Controller.   I follow the instructions to uninstall and reinstall the hardware, it appears to work, but I still get the same symptoms.    Anybody have any ideas?
