Daisy-Chaining Two Dell U3225QE Using DisplayPort and Thunderbolt?
Hi, I have two new Dell U3225QE monitors that I'm trying to connect to my 2024 16" Apple MacBook Pro. I'm using a "USB-C to DisplayPort" cable to connect the MBP to the 1st U3225QE, but I can't seem to get the daisy-chaining to work using the supplied "thunderbolt to thunderbolt" cable connection between the two monitors. If I switch the "USB-C to DisplayPort" cable with a thunderbolt cable, the daisy-chaining works, but I want to use the "USB-C to DisplayPort" connection between the MBP and the 1st monitor. Reading the Dell literature, it appears that this method should work, but I can't seem to get it worked out. Any thoughts on possible problems or settings? Thanks in advance!

Where in the online U3225QE User's Guide do you see the tested usage of a USB-C to DP cable?
The U3225QE did not ship with a USB-C to DP cable. It shipped with =
1.0 m Thunderbolt 4 to Thunderbolt 4 cable
1.8 m DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable
1.0 m USB-C to USB-A cable
Laptop Thunderbolt/USB-C DP alt mode --> U3225QE Thunderbolt 4 cable --> First U3225QE #7 Thunderbolt 4 upstream port
First U3225QE #5 DisplayPort out --> DP to DP cable --> Second U3225QE #4 DisplayPort in
Laptop Thunderbolt/USB-C DP alt mode --> U3225QE Thunderbolt 4 cable --> First U3225QE #7 Thunderbolt 4 upstream port
First U3225QE #6 Thunderbolt 4 downstream --> U3225QE Thunderbolt 4 cable --> Second U3225QE #7 Thunderbolt 4 upstream port
