DDM for macOS, high CPU usage, bug?

The last weeks I noticed that the battery of M1 MacBook Air drained too fast while in use. It took less than 4 hours to drain from 90 to 20 percent. Usally it took >10 hours for the battery to drain 70%. My CPU stats also showed constant CPU spikes from idle 2/3% to 35% (using M1 performance cores when spiking) This I not good behaviour!   After researching I noticed that after I remove DDM for macOS (red line picture) the cpu returns back to normal. Reinstalling DDM the CPU start to misbehave again and the spike parten (left from arrow) return. (just quoting DDM does not help, it need to be removed from the system with all it's files / helpers in ~/Library folders. It seems that DDM is using M! performance cores for background task where it should resort to efficiency cores.  In my opinion this could be a bug in DDM worth to investigate and fix! To close this out, when you allowed DDM to update to 1.50.0.0040, this corrected the issue.
