I did not think that DDM was active until you login as a user?

Try using the OSD shortcut keys, under "Personalize".

The U3818DW has the following pre-defined buttons starting from the left =Shortcut key/Preset Modes, Shortcut key/Volume, Menu, Exit, Power
So swamped207 is saying to use the OSD Menu Personalize to change either Shortcut key/Preset Modes or Shortcut key/Volume to Input Source.
