DDM, Tip: manually enable HiDPI (Windows)

It's a shame DDM (Dell Display Manager) is not doing your HiDPI capable monitor any justice because the DDM application is not DPI aware. The result is a pixelated UI of the application.

To forcefully enable HiDPI and improve the rendering of the UI you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Dell Display Manager"
  2. Right click 'ddm.exe' and select 'Properties'
  3. Select the tab 'Compatibility'
  4. At the bottom, click "Change high DPI settings"
  5. Enable "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and for the option of "Scaling performed by", select "Application"
  6. Confirm "OK" twice
  7. Restart DDM

@Dell please find the official documentation on how to make your application DPI aware out of the box: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/hidpi/high-dpi-desktop-application-development-on-windows
