I have 1 black pixel on my monitor......is down the bottom left so not a real worry......any cure.....monitor is 4 months old. (the Dell one)

Since it is white, I reckon it is a stuck pixel. Dead pixels are black.

Nice article regarding this isue. Describes difference between dead and stuck pixels.
 
 
I tried both free programs to test the monitor, and found them superb.
