Dell 2000FP problems

I have Dell 2000FP monitor and NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Ultra card. After some time my monitor just show black screen (I work at this time so this is NO Windows screensaver, etc.) and I need to power off monitor by pressing "Power Off" key at front lower-right side monitor for about 20-30 sec and power up monitor again to see windows picture. It's happening on DVI connection of monitor. Now I try to use D-SUB connections to see if this problem will again and again.

May be someone can help me with this?

I, too, am having this power problem with my DVI connection.  I have had no problems with my 2000 FP up to this point and now it "turns off" on its own.  The only way I can get the DVI to work properly again is to use the power button on the monitor.  My card differs from that of yours, however, as I have an ATI Radeon 9800.

I just make factory reset on monitor and problem is out.
Try it.

As strange as it sounds, I reset the monitor to its factory settings and so far, so good.  I don't know why that worked but I'm not complaining! Let's just hope the fix keeps the problem at bay.

Thanks for the tip!
