Great Pics, They demonstrate the issue clearly. I just ordered one of these and will be returning it if it has the same issue.

Great photos. The pictures tell the story. The evidence is in the photos. Seems like this problem has not had any official comments from Dell (that I've seen yet).

I'm having the same problem.

I have 2 stuck pixels, that aren't really noticeable. I'm worried that if I send this back, I'll get one that fixes the backlight issue, but has more bad pixels.

both are annoying...but the backlight is worse imo esp if the pixels arent right in the middle of the screen. ill keep sending mine back till i get a perfect monitor, 600 bucks is alot of loot for me.

my replacement arrived, also a Nov 04 build rev A00...has 1 dead pixel and bad backlight issues still in the top right corner (still makes dvds unwatchable)

very disappointing! i think ppl who are claiming who have perfect monitors arent testing properly.

I hooked my new monitor up last night A00 Nov 2004 Man in Mexico. It has 2 stuck pixels and I dont see the light bleed through as extreme as some of the photos I have seen here. I used the LCD Test program. I may not have done all the testing correctly to test for bleed through though. I turn off all lights put the LCD Test on Black screen and looked at it head on and there was some but it didnt seem to affect anything I was doing but if I went off angle it got really bad. I will pop in a few DVD's tonight and check them out. I was using a Dell P1110 monitor and find the new one to be very bright and crisp and it works well with EQ2.
