Question

I have some dell 24in displays, they are running on the Mini displayport to displayport cable, i do use an extension cable because they're mounted on standing desks. and for some reason they wont stop flickering/flashing, I've tried doing the factory monitor reset as well as all the settings. We are running these monitors on HP z800 workstations, some users are still running Apple monitors and they never experience this issue. I'm curious if the power adapter on the monitor is doing something that doesnt allow for the flicker/flash to occur. Thank you,

I have seen this issue with the longer cables. We never tested/validated our monitors with any cables longer than the 6' cable we provided. Can you dismount one of them and test with our 6' cable? Or somehow move the workstation closer to the mounted monitor to test our 6' cable?
