for the driver link iam still confused the video driver and the monitor driver are 2 different drivers correct yesterday i told tech support i needed to re install the monitor driver because there was only a microsoft default driver listed i think she gave me a link to a video driver not a monitor driver i have the install cd that came with the monitor but that dosent mean its up to date. thanks
The drivers for the monitor and video card are different.
You may receive a new product, but the drivers may not be up to date. I usually check at the vendors site for the latest drivers.

Check the display resolution in Display Properties. It should be 1680 x 1050 @60Hz. If you can't adjust it you probably need to reinstall the
video driver. Then go to Device manager > Monitors. If you don't see the Dell 2007WFP listed, update the
monitor driver.
