Difference between 2709W and 2709WB

Question

I just had my original 2709W A00 die on me, internal circuits were going causing a thin vertical line, and video corruption along the top of the screen when it was refreshing an overlay. Its been weird for 4-5 months, but I waited till it was bad enough to contact support for an RMA. I got the first Refurbished replacement, but the 5.1 audio was not working, so another call was made. The 2nd RMA replacement had some dead pixels, so I am about to contacted them again. The replacements shipping has been great and very responsive, so no issues there, its now just which refurb will work. So I see there are numerous hardware revisions and new model number; 2709WB . Can you please tell me the difference between the 2 models, and should I be hoping to get the latest hardware revision also? Is it always a upgrade with the hardware revisions, or is there less in the newer versions? I will update with newest monitor when I get later today.   G

The 2709W and 2709WB are the same monitor. The "B" just shows the manufacturer location.

I cannot speak to what revision might ship out. We do not have any control over this.

Thanks for info on the models. Is there any revision version I should stay away from; like the A00 which had some issues? Thanks   g
