dirt behind LCD very visible on light backgrounds
I've had a white spot under my 2713HM monitor's screen for over a year now. I have no idea how it got there. Since I've recently started to use the monitor a lot I would like this fixed. I purchased directly from Dell with a 5 year warranty and would like to know if I send this in for repair will the issue be fixed and my original monitor be sent back to me, or will I be sent a different refurbished monitor?
I do not want a different monitor sent back to me unless the screen defect/dirt (whatever it is) cannot be fixed/cleaned. The reason for this is that upon initial purchase I had to send the display back for replacement due to bad backlight bleeding. The replacement was satisfactory. However I also have dozens of these monitors at my place of work and I know full-well how common this backlight bleeding is on this model, so I do not want to risk being sent a replacement monitor with what I would consider a worse problem (the backlight bleeding) just to fix the white spot.
I am unable to capture with my inferior cell phone camera a good picture of the problem, but below is a picture of someone else's laptop display having the same issue. The white spot on mine shaped differently but it is the same problem.

* No. Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have disassembly documentation. We simply exchange the monitor while inside the purchased warranty period and send the defective monitor back to the manufacturer.
or will I be sent a different refurbished monitor?
* Yes.

* We are not going to attempt to fix/clean it. You will just have to take a chance on a refurbished exchange. If you are not happy with it, send it back and have them setup another exchange.

Thank you Chris. Although your wording "you will just have to take a chance on a refurbished exchange" is disconcerting. Really doesn't engender trust in Dell's quality control =/
