Does anyone else have this problem with the E172FP?
I recently purchased my new computer which came with the E172FP monitor, I noticed right away that it was brighter at the bottom, especially the left hand side, I informed Dell who replaced it a few days ago..but it's still brighter at the bottom of the monitor...anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I have the same problem. The color saturation decreases from top to bottom. I have received two replacements and they are the same. It's not the (onboard) video - all 3 had the same problem on my other Dell system (which has a video card). My 1800FP works great on both systems.
I even bought an 1801FP to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't have the color saturation problem, but the type looked like it was printed with an old typewriter ribbon. It tested the same on both systems and yes, I updated the monitor driver to the 1801 on both systems.
