Does backlight bleeding go away?

I've only owned dell lcds before (two 2005fpw, one 2405fpw, and my new 2007wfp) and they've all suffered from backlight bleed.
just wondering if it goes away in time? it just seems that after the monitor's warmed up a bit, the backlight bleeding gets worse...

How lucky do you have to be to get an lcd with zero backlight leakage and zero dead pixels?!? :(
