Does The Dell 2407WFP (A04) Require Drivers

Hi,

Recently bought a Dell 2407WFP A04, and although I set it up just as "plug & play," in which mode it works very well, I was just wondering if this monitor required any extra drivers to be installed, and if so, could I please have a link to them....can't find any on the Downloads page on the Dell website, which would make me think that it doesn't require any others.

I am using it with Windows XP Pro (32bit) via DVI.

Thanks. :smileyhappy:

The link from the main display drivers page doesn't work, but here is the 2407WFP XP driver page <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>.

The monitor 'driver' is optional. It is not strictly speaking, a device driver - it adds the monitor's preset display modes to the registry and installs an ICC color profile.

I've always wondered about that.  Does the ICC color profile actually improve picture quality?
