I called for customer support and the guy from Dell is thinking it's my computer that's causing the problem??? I don't think he understands what backlight bleeding is (and on my 3007 it's quite a large spot on the monitor).
Do the backlight issues at the top right show if you do this? With the 3007 powered on, disconnect the DVI cable from the rear of the PC. The Monitor will display full screen in White, Black, Red, Green and Blue color rolling pattern on screen if the DVI cable is not connected. This self test pattern will be displayed continually when Monitor detects that DVI cable from Monitor to PC is not connected.
