E171fpb makes creaking noise

I have a  E171fpb from when I bought it with my desktop back in 2003. Its been working great, however I started to notice something. When it is on, every now and then there is a sort of popping noise from the back vents. It usually happens when I am using the computer. I sprayed some air into the vents and such to see if it makes it go away. I am also considering opening the back cover and spraying the internal components.


Is this something to due with the internal PSU, or is the monitor gradually failing?
