I just received a 2001FP to replace my broken 2000FP.
Forgot why I used white connector instead of blue.
What is the diffence between them?
Also this monitor has USB connectors on the back and on the side. They sent me a USB cable. What do I do with it? What does it do? How do I connect it? Do I need it?
If by white and blue you mean the DVI vs. Analog VGA cables, that is is the difference.. (I can't recall if my DVI cable had a white connector on it, I think it did). If the 2001FP has a DVI connector you can use that to connect to the DVI connector on your PC for a pure digital signal. The blue cable is likely an analog cable with your standard VGA connector of 15 pins while the white cable is probably a larger connector.
As for the USB connections, you need to connect the squarish end of that cable to the monitor to activate the internal hub and plug the rectangular end into your PC to link it to your PC. Then you can plug USB devices into the remaining rectangular USB ports... ie: PDA's, printers, flash drives etc...
