The online G2722HS User's Guide states that it has HDMI 2.0 ports. So the 1m HDMI cable is also 2.0.
RJYD9 = HDMI 2.0 to HDMI 2.0, 1m/3.2ft, Wistron

Thank you very much, Chris!
I realised that I can't use Nvidia g-sync with HDMI on this screen anyway, so I'll stick to the DisplayPort cable.
