G3223Q, DDPM 2.0.0.72, feedback
There are two issues that I have noticed in DDPM 2.0.0.72
Previously, I could set hotkeys to symbol keys such as -+,.;' Home, End. Now I am only able to set it to letters and numbers. Please change it back to the previous behaviour, as I use Ctrl+Alt+"-" and Ctrl+Alt+"+" as my brightness adjustment keys.
Another issue is that this program does not appear in the System Tray unlike the previous version. Closing it should minimise it to the System Tray (or you can give us a setting to so we can choose to enable or disable this behaviour).

Which Dell monitor model?
DDPM is not designed to be in the System Tray. When running, you will see it in the Task Manager.

The model is G3223Q, though I don't think it's very important in this context.
Is there a reason DDPM isn't minimised to the System Tray like the previous version? Isn't it much faster to just open it in the System Tray rather than having to launch it in the Start Menu when I just have to switch another gaming mode or something?

I'd like to second these requests. I just had the DDPM update forced upon me, and upon finding that I couldn't set hotkeys that used non-alphanumeric keys in hotkey definitions, I reverted back to the last versions of the non-unified Dell Peripheral Manager (1.7.7) and Display Manager (2.3.2.23) respectively.

Today for my Dell Monitor S3422DW and Dell 7020 SFF Plus - Windows 11 - Dell Tech informed to install DDPM 2.0.0.72 that Supports Windows 11. For me, it is a downgrade from the Display Manager 2.3.3.23 that worked easily and installed in the System Tray for easy access. There also was an icon next to the system tray for easy access. Now one has to open up the software and click through to get to the Easy Arrange options. It's an impediment to my work and a time waster. The formerly great easy to use tool is now annoying. I have searched high and low and cannot find a workaround to add the Easy Arrange option to the system tray. Please bring it back. Also, in Windows 11 the drop down at the top of the monitor screen does not work - it slightly drops but not all the way and does not work as it did in Windows 10 and DP 2.3.3.23. The new 2.0.0.72 version same issue - you see a gray bar at the monitor top center but it doesn't open all the way. Please Dell engineers, make it user friendly.

I also agree that non alpha characters need to brought back as well as separate hotkeys for multiple monitors. I know that moving the mouse to the screen you want it to activate the function on before pressing the hotkey is required but it's so frustrating where DDM used to have separate shortcuts available.
I have uninstalled DDPM and gone back to DDM....

@Alex QIC
Since the DDPM 2.0.0.72 February 20, 2025 release, there have been five DDPM updates =
2.0.1.16 March 27, 2025
2.0.2.11 May 2, 2025
2.0.3.9 June 2, 2025
2.1.0.20 June 27, 2025
2.1.0.23 July 8, 2025
Did you test them all?

@DELL-Chris M
Speaking for myself only, the release notes do not indicate that these reported issues have been resolved, so I have not tried releases of DDPM after 2.0.0.72.

Is there any update on this issue? The latest DDPM does still does not support using keys like [home] as a hotkey. What's up?
