Help Needed with On Screen Volume Bar

I have a Dell W1700 LCD TV connected to my Dell Dimension 8300 Desktop Computer

One day I turned it on and an onscreen volume control bar showed up centered verticly and a little lower than center horizontally. It stays on top of every page and will not go away. I have tried the monitors volume buttons on the front of the monitor but it only causes it to do an auto adjust of the screen and asks me if i want to save the new settings. I try to say yes but it will not let me select anything. I have to turn the monitor off and back on to get that off my screen but that only brings the volume button back up. I do not have the remote anymore for the moniter. Can anyone help me get this volume bar off my screen please?
