How to get card reader working???

Question

I put a card in the CF card reader on the left side of a 30' monitor and not a thing happens. I really need the file and it doesn't do anything. What am I supposed to do?

did u connect the usb upstream cable provided in the package from the monitor to your computer's usb port?

that is required for the usb ports and the card reader to work. hope it helps.
