[How-To] Use Docking Station Mounting Kit MK15 with S3422DWG

I recently switched from a dual P2412H setup to a single S3422DWG ultrawide monitor. On my old setup I used a MK15 to neatly tuck my WD19TBS docking station behind one of the monitors.

Sadly the MK15 is designed to work with UltraSharp en P-series and the opening for the quick release on the S3422DWG is too deep to make the WD15 fit. However if you install a couple of M4 standoffs it'll fit just fine. I used two sizes as to make the MK15 sit level on the back of the S3422DWG; M4*15+6 on the bottom and M4*10+6 at the top.

When the standoffs are installed you can screw the MK15 in and click the monitor arm into place using quick release. Admittedly it doesn't look as slick with the pattern of the arm not aligning with the pattern of the monitor. But then again; it's on the back and I won't ever see it. At least now I have a clean desk.
