I have a "bug" in my flat panel display!

My Dell 20.1 inch LCD widescreen display (2005FPW) has a small dead spider or fruit fly visible in the actual display area. I watched as he climbed around and then died and has not moved since. This dead insect appears to be lodged between the plane where text and graphics are displayed and the white background (while grabing windows and moving them around, the text and graphics moves in a plane just slightly above the insect), location is approximately 6 inches from the left and 1.5 inches from the bottom. I've tried gentle shaking of the display in an attempt to get it to drop down from between the display layers but to no avail. Is there some way to remove the insect? Can the display be disassembled in order to allow cleaning? Can compressed air be used to blow out the debris? Can a thin probe be used between the "plates"? Is it possible to separate the clam shell enclosure for acess?
thanks,
Dave

The bugs should not be able to access the display area.
That is a manufacturrers defect that renders the LCD panel useless.
Call Dell ask for a replcement if it's under warranty.

It's probably out of warranty as I've had the display for 18 months...
