IN2020M, screen goes dark
My two IN2020M monitors exhibits unusual performance. After hooking up the appropriate connections and duplicating my desktop, it is able to function normal as per usual and display my desktop. However, after a couple of seconds, the screen goes dark and the on/off button on the monitor is not responding and the indication LED is off. I can turn the monitor on and duplicate my desktop again only when I turn off its mains and wait for a minute or so and then the above happens again. I've tried it with two laptops, my Aftershock Prime-15 and a Lenovo X250 and the connectors used are DVI to a miniDP adapter, a DVI to HDMI and VGA connections, I've also tried installing the monitor drivers however to no avail. Lowering the brightness and contrast used to work in the past in prolonging the working duration of the monitor before showing the symptoms but now it does not anymore. Anyone knows what's the issue and is willing to help me out? Appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Test these with only one PC connected to the IN2020M at a time =
(1) Lenovo X250 VGA out port --> VGA to VGA cable --> IN2020M VGA in port
(2) Aftershock Prime-15 HDMI out port --> straight HDMI to DVI cable --> IN2020M DVI in port
If still no go, time to replace the eight year old monitor.

Let's backup.
The out of warranty eight year old IN2020M has the following video in ports = DVI, VGA
* List all of the video out ports on the Aftershock Prime-15
* List all of the video out ports on the Lenovo X250
