The monitor USB Uplink cable connects from the monitor to a PC USB port. This allows the PC to talk to USB devices you plug into the monitor USB ports. But I cannot find E193FPP? I only see E193FP which doesn't have USB ports.
Chris and any others with help...... I found by searching the Dell site using E193FPP three hits with the one an appendix of a manual ( http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?s=dhs&c=us&l=en&cs=19&k=E193FPP&cat=sup&x=9&y=7. ) Looking again at that appendix which led to the TOC it is for an E193FP. Googling I do get a few hits for D193FPP but no relevent info.
Not as observant as I thought, I also find two USB ports on the side of the display - so there are a total of four. If there was one on the back I might start to suspect that one "fed" the other two like a splitter. More important to me is the identification of the small 1/4" femalel socket with two cut off (diagonal) corners.
I would like to attach this monitor as a secon display to my 546 which an an integated video card with only a 15 pin analog which I am using and a second HDMI. I intend to purchase an HDMI cable but need to know what my options are on the other end.
