Just got my replacement 2007wfp

I didnt get a notice from Dell, it just showed up here at work. But I did get it. Thanks ChrisM for helping us out! One thing, in the instructions Dell sent, you are instructed to call Airborne Express. However the shipping bill that is sent is through DHL. Make sure you call the right one for shipping your monitor back.

Airborn and DHL are the same company now.  Calling either one should not cause a problem.

I just got mine, too. Mobile, Al. Overnight shipment w/return via dhl. It's the good screen from Mex and not a PVA screen. I was going to run gradien on it but AntiVir complains of a trojan so I had to quarintine for deletion. Good Luck to all and thank you very much Chris, u da best.

Ok, I pulled up the graphic:http://i.pbase.com/o4/04/606404/1/59690566.1920Gradient.png and there is absolutely nooooooo banding. Yahooo!

Just got mine, checked the service menu and it says LPL WSXGA LM201W01. So assume, this is the much wanted LG panel?

Also. How long did it take from the time you sent the PM to receiving the replacement? Or did you do the PM before the replacements were ready to ship so there may not be as long of a delay?

Hi Chris,

I will be on vacation in about a week and I'm worried that the monitor will come without notice. I hate for it to go back to Dell if I'm not at home. What should I do? And yes I'm on the list.

Did you get another email saying that there was a monitor on the way, like you did for the first one? I'm hoping that I'll have a tracking number for the replacement so that I will know when to be home. Don't want to sit around all day while it's in transit if I absolutely don't have too.

I'm canadian and I got one 2007FP with A01, not by replacement but from buying it new on the 26th of May.

The color banding in Desktop mode is fixed for the most part. I have noticed it some when dealing with greyscale gradients but in dealing with colors like true green(0,255,0 in photoshop)fading to Black there is no banding. In movies and games I have noticed zero banding as well.
