Monitor Controls

Hello, for some reason my Dell M770 monitor will not let me manually adjust the usual monitor controls. Has anyone come across this before? Help wpuld be appreciated. Thanks

Charlie,
The controls on the front of the monitor from left to right are :
Contrast, brightness, decrease (-), increase (+), and OSD. If you push the OSD button (the one with the carriage return symbol) a menu will appear on your screen. Use the + or - button to navigate the menu until you find the selection you want. Press the OSD button to make that the active selection. Now, use the + or - button again to change the value for that particular setting. Press the OSD button again and navigate your way out of the menu. If you only want to change the contrast or brightness, press one of the two buttons on the left and use the + or - button to change the value. For complete documentation on your monitor, check the following URL:

Thanks for your reply, however, none of the controls on the front of the monitor do anything now nothing happens! I know how to use the controls but I can't even get the menu up! Any ideas.
