Monitor does not process the color RED
Help!
I can't figure out why my monitor no longer recognizes the color red. I unplugged everything last week to set the system up on a new desk, and when I connected everything back together, the monitor color was changed....very blue/green.
I've attempted to adjust color, but no luck. I also notice that the color red does not appear anymore in font color availability in Word, however the option to select red is still there...though the color red does not appear.
When i print, it prints red.
But no red anywhere on screen.
What do I do?

BruiNation,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Do a monitor self-test. Turn the cpu and monitor off. Unplug the video cable that connects to the video card at the back of the cpu. Turn the monitor on. You should see a red, green and blue color bar. If the red is not present then, the monitor is probably defective and will need to be replaced.
