Monitor Driver Problem

Question

I have a new Dell Vista, but that isn't the problem. I recently attended a sale at a private school that was closing. For ten bucks, I got a Pentium 2 Dell and a Dell VS17X (D1728D-LS) monitor. The hard drive was empty, of course, so I installed Windows 98. I need a driver to allow operation with 256 colors and at the higher resolutions. Dell doesn't seem to be helpful for Win98 systems. I'm a retired pensioner and the ten bucks was all right for a second computer, but I don't want to throw a lot of money at it.
