Monitor Driver

I am having some problems with blurry text. So I thought that one solution might be installing a Dell driver for the monitor since the one installed is a generic Windows one. I installed one that was for a Dell 1704FPT monitor, which was the closest thing to what's listed on my order sheet. My order sheets lists a Dell 1704FPTT. The blurriness is still there ,but now in the Display Properties it lists my monitor as Dell 1704FPT(analog). My monitor is supposed to be digital. Did I download and install the wrong driver?
