I did a self-test feature check, and it was OK, therefore the monitor seems to be OK.
Now when I start my computer, the power LED turns from silver to green, there is a very short blue flash on the screen before it stays black. There is apparently nothing wrong with the computer (the letters A to D are light in green on the back of the computer). I need to switch on and off the monitor around 5 to 10 times to suddenly have it working properly and then it is OK.
I do not know the problem but I would like to have it fixed. Is there a problem with the video card ?
My monitor is working fine now, all what was needed to make it work, was to reinitialize the monitor with the default settings. It might be helpful for other users to know that.
