Monitor for CAD/CAM...E248?

I just purchased a Precision 690 from the Dell Outlet to replace my Dimension XPS 400 for working with SolidWorks and MasterCAM. Now I need to look at a new monitor to replace my Viewsonic VG2021m.   The budget is tight after the 690 and additional RAM so I need some help.   I will be running a nVidia Quadro FX1500 (256mb) until I can upgrade that.   I know the E248WFP is an entry level 24'; does anyone have experience running CAD/CAM on that?   Would I be better served to get a higher end 22' wfp?   Having never used a wfp (16:9) for CAD/CAM before, I'm a bit out of my realm here.   Thanks.

There isn't really a 'high end' 22' - they're all TN panels with the same 1680x1050 resolution as 20' widescreens. A 24' widescreen (1920x1200) would be better for CAD - more screen real estate. The E248WFP also uses a TN panel, the 2407WFP would provide better color and viewing angles. These screens are 16:10 BTW.
