Monitor noise
My 17 inch Trinitron has started making a high pitched whine for a time when it is first turned on. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

I don't mind the noise, it usually stops in 5 ro ten minutes, I wanted be sure I didn't have a problem.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
You can change the adapter or monitor refresh rate to a different setting. Go into the Display Properties and click Settings | Advanced | Adapter/Monitor(you can change both). You will then see where to make the change. You may need to try different settings to get the high pitch noise to stop.
