Monitor not getting signal
I just got a new Dell 8300 and monitor. Sometimes it says not getting signal when i turn it on. I check the connections,plugs and wires and such, I have moved the subwoofer further away and sometimes this helps and sometimes this doesn'r. Eventually it usually does kick on but not after some frustration. A friend suggested that it might be the videocard.which is a128mb ddr ati radeon 9800 pro. Any ideas?

hello!
you can try reseating the video card... inspect the monitor's cable adn connector for any damage.. if no obvious damage is present and reseating the video card does not solve the problem,, you can always contact Dell Tech Support.. they will be very glad to help you with your problem..
