Monitor Power Button Failure

I have a Dell 17inch FP DVI monitor (sorry, can't remember the model!).

The power button on the front, bottom right hand corner is now stuck. I think it is a microswitch, but there is no in/out button movement. Thankfully it has stuck in the 'on' position so I can use my PC for the time being.

Anyone else had this issue and fixed it without returning the monitor?

I live in the UK-what do Dell do about faulty monitors-is it a case of drop off a new one and collect the faulty at the same time? I would like to really keep this monitor I have now as it has no dead pixels. Do Dell swap with a new monitor (not a refurbished one)?

Many thanks.
