Monitor Resolution Changed

I bought 3 new Dell Optiplex computers w/ 19" Flat panel monitors.  They have been working great for about 4 months.  I left last night and my monitor was fine but when I got here this morning the resolution changed.  It is very hard to read the text which looks like it is greyed out.

By the way this has happened on the other 2 monitor as well, all within a 2 day period.

Any suggestions.

agardino,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Try reinstalling the video card drivers into the system to see if that will resolve the issue that you are having with the computer.

I have had the same thing this morning. All six machines (purchased about 4 months ago) upon boot up, had the wrong monitor resolution. All of them have 19" flat screen monitors, those six users utilize a larger resolution size.

Guess I'll advise my tech staff to reload the video driver...

I have reloaded my monitor drivers and video drivers and nothing has helped.  I am on the phone now with a Dell rep but we have not solved the problem yet.

I will let you know if we do.
